LITIGATION

If you are fortunate in your career, you have chosen a job that naturally inspires you. Here at Patino King, L.L.C., there is nothing more rewarding to us than achieving justice for our clients through litigation. In our litigation department, this is what drives us and what makes us want to
come to work each day. Through our many years of litigation experience, we know what it takes to succeed in litigation. Many times this success comes in the form of a good settlement, which not only provides our clients with money or other relief that they may be seeking, but also saves
them the time and expense of litigating a case all the way to trial, and possibly even after that if a judgment is appealed.

At Patino King, L.L.C., if there is any chance of settling a lawsuit, we know how to bring parties to the settlement table and get deals done. In those cases where there appears to be no chance for settlement, we will zealously represent our clients throughout the litigation process and use our unique experience and skills to achieve a successful result.

Our litigation department is led by Sam King. Sam has been providing quality litigation services to clients and employers for over thirty (30) years. He began his legal career as Judicial Clerk for the Chief Justice of the South Dakota Supreme Court and later served as Judicial Clerk for the Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court in Nebraska. Both of these positions allowed Sam to view litigation from the Judge’s point of view which insight has allowed him to be a better litigation attorney. Sam also served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice for six years where he received much of his education in trial practice. Since 1996, most of Sam’s practice has been dedicated to representing private clients in civil litigation, both asserting claims in litigation or defending against them. He has successfully litigated civil cases to Judges and juries, as well as in arbitration. Patrick Patino also has extensive experience in litigating civil cases in bankruptcy courts, and in State and Federal Courts, and often provides support in complex litigation.
